One of my friend at work asking me about Garmin Mobile XT upgrade where he have it on this N82. Now I'm using version 5.00.30 and it works find. After searching on Garmin webpage, I just notice only a slight update for version 5.00.40. So to my opinion, not worth it to update yet until the next release, or major update. For 5800 XM users, we dont need photo viewer. So why bother to update.
Changes made from version 5.00.30 to 5.00.40:
- Provide location format selection for coordinates.
- Correct picture viewer to show multiple photos in Travel Guide.
